Step 1: Lead in
Before the newlesson, I want to play a video for the students. It’s about music. We will talkabout it.
Step 2: Presentation
Students will get 3 minutes to read the passage, and thenthey will try to fill the blanks according to the passage. When he was four,he started composing music when he was five, and when he was six, he played theharpsichord in a concert for the Empress of Austria. The students will discusswith their partners. Then, teacher will explain the grammar for students.
Step 3: Practice
Students will make sentences using adverbial clause oftime.
Step 4: Production
Students will be divided into 4 groups to introduce theirfavourite musician.
Step 5: Summary andhomework
Several volunteers will give a summery to the class.
Homework: students will fill the blanks on your exercisebook, and surf the internet to find more about music.
